Millennium-old monks’ manuscripts return to Ireland for exhibition

The abbey library, now a Unesco world heritage site, has agreed to lend 17 manuscripts for the exhibition, which will run from 30 May to 24 October. Discovered broken at the bottom of a Longford lake, it makes its public debut in the exhibition after years of conservation.
