The inquest into journalist Wahid Uz Zaman Bulu’s death has revealed multiple injuries, including a crushed face and broken arms, after his body was recovered in Khulna, reports bdnews24.com. Police recovered the 60-year-old journalist’s body around 8:15pm on Sunday from under Khulna’s Khan Jahan Ali Bridge, later identified by family members. He was also a member of Khulna Press Club and Khulna Union of Journalists, according to Enamul Haque, convener of the press club’s interim committee. Following the postmortem on Monday, his funeral prayer was held at Khulna Press Club, before burial at Goalkhali graveyard. Childless, Bulu had posted on Facebook four months ago that his “mentally unstable” wife had gone missing.
