PRAGUE — Việt Nam always attaches great importance to promoting the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with the Czech Republic, and wishes to further expand cooperation with the country across fields, Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn has said. He was speaking during a meeting with Czech Senate President Milos Vystrcil and talks with his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavsky on the occasion of his official visit to the European country on June 9-10. Czech leaders expressed their good impressions on Việt Nam's socio-economic development achievements and highly valued Việt Nam's increasingly important position and role in recent years. They affirmed that Việt Nam is the most important partner of the European country in Southeast Asia. He used the occasion to invite Jan Lipavsky to pay an official visit to Việt Nam.
