Ottawa paramedics said they were called to Carling Avenue near Moodie Drive around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. The woman was critically injured and died at the scene, according to paramedics. Both were alone in their vehicles, paramedics said. Carling was closed in the area until around 6 a.m. Thursday, police said.
