भास्कर न्यूज, पुणे। उबर चालक की हत्या कर उसका शव घाट में फेंक देने के मामले में ओतूर पुलिस ने कुछ ही दिनों में आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। गिरफ्तार आरोपी का नाम आदर्श चंद्रकांत भालेराव (21) निवासी संकेश्वर किस्टल सोसायटी, गणेश विद्यालय के पास, टिटवाला ईस्ट, तहसील कल्याण, जिला ठाणे बताया गया है। मृतक की पहचान नासिर अहमद सलामतुल्ला अंसारी (26) के रूप में हुई है, जो मूल रूप से शेरकोट, जिला बिजनौर (उत्तर प्रदेश) का रहने वाला था और वर्तमान में समता नगर, सेक्टर-1, ऐरोली नाका, नवी मुंबई में रह रहा था। वह उबर कंपनी में चालक के रूप में कार्यरत था।पुलिस के अनुसार, 5 मार्च को नासिर अंसारी टिटवाला से एक यात्री को लेकर जुन्नर की ओर निकला था। मालशेज घाट मार्ग से सितेवाड़ी (ता. जुन्नर) स्थित गणेशखिंड घाट में गाड़ी रोकने के बाद आरोपी और चालक के बीच किसी बात को लेकर विवाद हो गया। विवाद बढ़ने पर दोनों के बीच हाथापाई हुई। इसी दौरान आरोपी ने चालक के हाथ से चाकू छीनकर उसकी गर्दन पर वार कर दिया, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। हत्या के बाद आरोपी ने शव को घाट में बने सीमेंट के कठड़े के नीचे फेंक दिया और कार लेकर टिटवाला की ओर फरार हो गया।इस मामले में मृतक के भाई मोहम्मद अमीर सलामतुल्ला अंसारी की शिकायत पर 8 मार्च को मामला दर्ज किया गया। उबर कंपनी से प्राप्त जानकारी और जीपीएस ट्रैकिंग की मदद से पुलिस ने आरोपी का पता लगाकर उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया।यह कार्रवाई पुलिस अधीक्षक संदीपसिंह गिल, अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक रमेश चोपडे और उपविभागीय पुलिस अधिकारी धनंजय पाटिल के मार्गदर्शन में सहायक पुलिस निरीक्षक एल. थाटे, पीएसआई संदीप आमणे तथा पुलिस टीम ने की।

New Delhi, 09-March -2026, By IBW TeamThe Indian Government is not in favour of a ban on social media for children, and is instead considering a more nuanced and graded approach in specifying restrictions for children under 18 years, The Indian Express newspaper reported yesterday, citing top government sources. “There will be a certain set of restrictions for those in the 8-12 years age bracket, another set for 12-16 year olds, and different measures for those aged 16-18 years,” a senior government functionary told The Indian Express. While the IT Ministry has over the weeks discussed the possibility of allowing limited usage to children at certain fixed hours during the day in its internal meetings, top government sources told Express there have been informal discussions amongst Cabinet ministers on the need for social media curbs on children. “We are in favour of restrictions, but not a ban,” said the functionary responding to the announcements relating to social media curbs by Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, according to The Indian Express. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on March 6 announced a ban on use of social media for kids under the age of 16 years, a move aimed at preventing its adverse effects on children.
