The Troytown was a career-best, but you’d like to think he could have improved from that,” the Carrigtwohill, Co Cork trainer noted. “He has gone up the handicap, but he’s been fantastic for us and anything he does would be a bonus now. Owner JP McManus’ racing manager Frank Berry said: “He’s been lucky for us so far and he’s probably up a bit again in grade and it’s a good race. “Robert is really happy with him and he goes there in good form, whether he is good enough or not we wait and see. Betway ambassador Townend explained his decision by saying: “In such a stamina test I’ve gone for Captain Cody.

Monaghan great Conor McManus has welcomed the new rule making a jersey pull one of the prescribed goal-scoring opportunity denying offences. Although it has been described by Wicklow manager Oisín McConville as “nonsense”, McManus understands the merit in it. “You see the black card and the deliberate pull-down and then there was a way around it whereby you pulled but you stayed on your feet. “By the letter of the law, it probably is still a cynical foul and still cynical play. We've had good joy with development squads, minor squads, and U20 squads, things like that.

Donald Trump's Greenland rant as he gives wild reason 'ungrateful' Denmark should hand it overTrump made veiled threats to use America's military might to secure "right, title and ownership" of Greenland - arguing Denmark is being ungrateful by refusing to give it to the USDonald Trump argued Denmark is "ungrateful" for the protection the United States gave Greenland during World War II - and they should give it back. ‌And he warned world leaders that if Denmark doesn't hand the territory over, that the US "will remember". "But the reality is that no nation has the ability to defend Greenland apart from the United States." After the war we gave Greenland back to Denmark, how stupid were we to do that? He went on to issue veiled hints that he could still use America's military might if Denmark refused his demands.

The midfielder, who was handed an England recall by Thomas Tuchel last September, moved to AC Milan in the summer of 2023. Villa were courting Loftus-Cheek's former Chelsea team-mate, Conor Gallagher, earlier this month, only for Tottenham to sign the England star from Atletico Madrid in a permanent deal. Loftus-Cheek, if signed, represent a ready-made replacement for the injured Kamara with Premier League pedigree. TalkSPORT claimed earlier this week that United had been 'offered' the chance to sign Loftus-Cheek on loan, though it is unclear if the Red Devils have any interest in doing such a deal. United hero Rooney was one of many stars of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad that won both the Premier League and Champions League. ‌So how would Arsenal's class of '26 fare if they faced the United team of 18 years ago. For starters, the Manchester United team of 2008 were the best in Europe, having won the Champions League in Moscow. ‌This current Arsenal side is good, but hasn't won a single trophy yet, let alone the biggest one of the lot. In the 2007/08 Premier League season, United averaged 2.18 goals per game, Arsenal are currently scoring at a rate of 1.82 per game.
