Rantau Panjang MCBA deputy commander Bakri Sulaiman said the seizures, mostly sausages and other frozen products, occurred during a three-month operation that began in January. "We believe the high demand for Thai frozen food, especially sausages, prompted local traders to bring in the products to meet market demand in Kelantan. "However, the items were seized as they did not comply with entry regulations and documentation requirements," he added.
