Two people died along the Nairobi-Mombasa Road in Athi River after a Mash Poa bus was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry. Athi River deputy police boss Salim Komora told the Star on the phone the accident occurred in the wee hours of Sunday morning. The bus was heading from Mombasa to Nairobi, police reports indicate. Police said the injured were taken to Shalom Community Hospital and Machakos Level 5 Hospital where they are being treated. The bodies were taken to Shalom Community Hospital mortuary.
