Apart from Prabhas and Rana Daggubati being lauded for their performance, another actor who earned great praise was Ramya Krishnan for playing the queen mother Sivagami. With the phenomenal success of the film, this film will surely feature on Sridevi's list of 'missed opportunities'. Rubbing salt on her wound was filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who questioned the actress about her decision to decline the offer. RGV said, "I really wonder why @SrideviBKapoor did not do Bahubali 2? It remains to be seen if Sridevi responds to this in any way.
