‘A MOVEE Gov’t Will Support Sports Development’

Jones sees sports as national obligationThe Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) is the first political party that has stated its position on why the development of sports should be a national priority. Unveiling its platform yesterday at its head office in Congo Town, Monrovia, National Chairman Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. said if elected a MOVEE government will launch a Sports Development Program. He said the Sports Development Program will be decentralized across the country and will include, but not limited to, the establishment of a Sports Development Academy. He said the program will give serious consideration to the development, promotion, and support of the national teams of all sporting disciplines and the annual County Meet. “MOVEE sees this as a necessary national obligation and absolutely not a favor,” Kemayah noted.
