If things go as planned, today may well mark the unofficial start of the summer movie season. Sony picked up Natalie Krinsky’s romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery, starring Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers) and Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things) for theatrical release on July 10. But presuming that everything goes as currently scheduled, we may have something resembling a summer movie season after all. That will indeed include a number of high-profile streaming (Artemis Fowl, Da 5 Bloods, etc.) and VOD (Scoob!, King of Staten Island) titles alongside currently-slated theatrical options.
