Walt Disney Co.’s “Avengers: Endgame” became the second-highest-grossing movie of all time, reaching nearly $2.19 billion in global box-office revenue just 12 days after hitting theaters, according to preliminary studio estimates. “Endgame” took just 11 days to reach $2 billion in sales, whereas the top-grossing movie of all time, “Avatar,” took 47 days to surpass the mark, according to Disney, which now owns Twentieth Century Fox, the studio that released the 2009 science-fiction drama.
