Andy Farrell says Bundee Aki has apologised for the repeated outburst against match officials that resulted in him being banned for the first three matches of the Six Nations and insists the centre remains part of his plans. The Ireland coach said he did not make the decision to stand the Connacht star down before he had gone before a URC disciplinary hearing, but was kept informed by the IRFU who are launching an internal investigation into the events at the Dexcom Stadium after Connacht’s defeat to Leinster last month.
