‘Forget Gujarat, adopt Kerala model of development’


more-inThe BJP has been adopting Gujarat model of development where people are divided in the name of religion, with least regard to public welfare, said CPI (M) central secretariat member V. Srinivasa Rao. He advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to adopt the Kerala model of development all over the country, where public welfare is the only agenda. Speaking to newsmen, the CPI (M) leader accused the BJP-led NDA government of diluting the NREGS which was introduced by the UPA government. With a view to bring about social justice in Telangana, the CPI (M) would align with all like-minded political parties and peoples’ organisations to build a mass movement. The party leaders G. Prabhakar Reddy, T. Uppalaiah, M. Kumaraswamy, U. Nageshwar Rao, V. Veeranna etc.
