Hulk Hogan was one of the most influential figures in pro wrestling, and Netflix’s “Hulk Hogan: Real American" aims to tell the story of his career in his own words—and through those closest to him. I received an exclusive first look at the trailer for the four-episode docuseries, set to release on April 22. Hogan suggests his life may have been about more than wrestling, while the trailer itself raises questions about whether there was a “sinister side” to his success. Beyond the trailer, the docuseries, produced by Words+Pictures in association with WWE, will also feature never-before-seen footage from Hogan’s career. His final WWE appearance came on January 6, 2025.
