"Kenya intends to accede to the United Nations Resolution 2699 (2023) on the deployment of Police officers to Haiti," Kindiki affirmed. According to Kindiki, Kenya's involvement in this mission follows an assessment mission conducted by a Kenyan delegation to Haiti. Kindiki revealed that Haiti had requested 2,500 police officers, but Kenya has committed to sending 1,000 officers as part of the peace support mission.
