By 2050, Africa is expected to represent 25% of the global population—with roughly 2.5 billion inhabitants; a figure also predicted to reach 40% before the end of the century. Simultaneously, a deficiency of opportunities in Africa’s rural regions has kick-started a steady stream of aspiring city-folk. As far as migration patterns go, it all points to urban desire.
