Love me or hate me, but for our party to survive, the core values of what I stand for have to respected and embraced. Mr. Rawlings also bemoaned the scathing attacks on him, his wife Nana Konadu as well as anti-corruption campaigner Martin Amidu by young members of his own party, National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mr. Rawlings believes the younger ones in the party have deviated from the NDC’s principles of equity, probity and accountability. In his opinion, the younger ones now are only chasing after money to the detriment of the core values of the NDC.
