Moreover, the percentage of African women seeking institutional funding was significantly less than their male peers. After an in-depth research to determine the issue, I found out that there was a huge entrepreneurship-funding gap for African female entrepreneurs – the African Development Bank puts the figure of the funding gap for African female entrepreneurs at about $42 Billion.
