The actor took home the Oscar for Best Actor on Sunday night for his portrayal of twins Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler‘s horror triumph Sinners. The win brought audience members to their feet in a long-lasting standing ovation. Thank you everybody in this room and everybody at home for supporting me over my career. He went on to star in Creed and Black Panther, and Sinners marked the most transformative shift yet. Jordan brought two brothers with conflicting views on life and love to the screen with both humor and horror.
