Today, we’re going a step further: Forbes will no longer use the word minority to identify or classify races of people. Finally, as any Black or Brown person will tell you (and as echoed in the words of Prince), there is nothing minor about us. There is an old proverb that talks about tying an elephant to a stake as a baby so that it cannot run away. As the elephant grows, the stake does not, yet the elephant still believes it cannot remove itself from the stake.
