Prosecutors indicted them in April 2018 under the Anti‑Human Trafficking Act, Prostitution Prevention Act, Immigration Act and the Penal Code. In Thursday’s ruling, the Supreme Court upheld the convictions, citing credible testimony from victims and undercover officials. The Supreme Court adjusted the compensation terms, raising interest to 7.5% annually in line with revised financial regulations. Former massage parlour tycoon Chuwit Kamolvisit said he sold the establishment to Kampol in 2004.
