He urged government officers to refrain from taking bribes and asked the senior officers to set examples for their juniors. He said: “If the bosses and major officers do not take bribes, the junior officers will not find any scope either. Because scientifically, water always trickles down, it does not rise up.”Minister Tazul called for public servants to help build a clean, poverty-free Bangladesh for the benefit of everyone, saying: “If we plan accordingly, we can make the country a great place for everyone, not just one person.”He noted the government’s achievement of food security from the dismal past of famines. In attendance were State Minister Swapan Bhattacharya, Secretary Kamal Uddin Talukdar, Bard Director General Dr Mizanur Rahman, and Joint Director Abdul Kader.
