We are in a difficult situation because we agreed to act as guarantors for the rent for one of our sons. He has mental health issues and over the past few years has turned vehemently against us for no reason. He has paid no rent for a long time, so we have to pay it instead. His landlord has finally won an eviction order against him, which was delayed because of the moratorium on evictions due to Covid. He will never be allowed to live in the property again because he was imprisoned for offences against his neighbours.
