Kenya on Wednesday recorded 1,006 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the country's case load to 199,941, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has said. The country's fatalities have risen to 3,895 after another 13 patients succumbed to the disease on diverse dates. Kagwe said that there are 1,386 patients currently admitted in various hospitals across the country. Separately, the Ministry of Health has confirmed increased demand for ICU beds in hospitals to accommodate the high number of infections. Kagwe reiterated that the oxygen should be properly piped in the various health facilities.
