Two cases were filed with Savar model police station and six others with Ashulia police station, the officers-in-charge (OCs) have confirmed. On January 9, Abdus Salam, security guard of Ashulia Metro Knitting and Dyeing Mills Ltd, filed a case against 355 workers of the factory. On January 11, Anwarul Islam, principal manager of Ashulia Knit Asia Ltd, filed another case against 50 workers of the factory. Confirming the incidents, Ashulia OC Zabed Masud said a total of 881 people were sued in connection with vandalism and robbery during the movement. Savar OC Abdul Awal said several cases were filed against 418 workers, and 13 of them have already been apprehended, he said.
