1 dead, 2 injured in head-on crash on highway east of Orillia
A head-on crash east of Orillia, Ont., early Saturday has left one man dead and two other people injured, according to provincial police. The crash occurred on Highway 12, between Sideroad 15 and Concession Road 8, in the township of Ramara, the Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release. King was taken from the scene to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The passenger in the southbound vehicle, a woman, suffered minor injuries. Highway 12, which was closed between Sideroad 15 and Concession Road 8 in the township of Ramara, has been reopened.
