TUGUEGARAO CITY –– A 39-year-old man died after the car he was driving crashed against an armored van in Lallo town, Cagayan province on Saturday, police said. Police identified the victim Reymar Barcarse of Barangay Bangag in Aparri town. ADVERTISEMENTInvestigators said rains over the weekend made the road slippery, causing the victim to lose control of his pickup before hitting the armored car. The police said the crash injured seven others. The intermittent rains in Cagayan also raised the elevation at the Magat Dam, which was at 172.82 meters above sea level (masl) on Sunday.
