: Offaly village begins fundraising for St Patrick's Day paradeOne Offaly village has already began their fundraising efforts for their St Patrick's Day parade. The community in Edenderry have set out to raise €1,000 ahead of the celebration, which is less than ten weeks away. The Edenderry St Patrick’s Day Parade committee have said that the event has been the 'main event' in Edenderry for over 10 years, bringing the community together for a family friendly event that welcomes everyone, and brings so much fun and excitement right in to the heart of Edenderry. "We need some serious fundraising for the next few weeks to ensure the Edenderry Parade goes ahead. Every donation, big or small can go a huge way to make sure St Patricks Day in Edenderry is one to remember!"
