The Ministry of Health has announced 801 news cases of Covid-19, from 5,850 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The new cases bring the total caseload in the country to 195,111 and the positivity rate to 13.7%. A total of 481 patients have recovered from the disease, 322 from various health facilities while 134 are from home based and isolation care. Another 1,248 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 3,862 are under the Home-based Isolation and Care program. A total of 356 patients are separately on supplemental oxygen, 320 of them in general wards and 36 in High Dependency Units (HDU).
