This will turn listed companies into outstanding asset class for local and foreign investors," said Stock Exchange of Thailand President Kesara Manchusree.Kasikornbank is the new comer, making it the first bank in Thailand and Asean in DJSI.This year, Thai Oil is also named the Energy Industry Group Leader, from 159 companies worldwide.The 14 companies are: Advanced Info Service, Airports of Thailand, Banpu, Charoen Pokphand Foods, Central Pattana, IRPC, KBank, Minor International, PTT, PTT Exploration and Production, PTT Global Chemical, Siam Cement, Thai Oil, Thai Union Group. All will be part of DJSI Emerging Markets Index.Five of them are also selected for DJSI World Index: KBank, PTT, PTTEP, PTT Global Chemical and Siam Cement.They represented 3,420 companies worldwide.
