The interim government has once again reshuffled 14 senior police officials at the levels of additional deputy inspector general and superintendent of police amid regular changes to the force’s leadership since the July Uprising. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice to the effect on Thursday. The notice included orders reassigning the duties of eight additional DIGs and six SPs. Among the eight additional DIGs reassigned, two are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, one each are from the Chattogram Metropolitan Police and Barishal Metropolitan Police, and another is from the Chattogram Range. In addition, the list also contains the Chuadanga SP, the Railway SP, and several officials in the Police Bureau of Investigation at the SP level.
