The Ministry of Health has announced 88 news cases of Covid-19 in the country, bringing total infections to 170, 735. In a statement on Monday, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe also announced 15 deaths, all of which are from facility audits conducted in April. A total 1,237 patients are admitted in various hospitals while 4, 661 are on Home-based isolation and care. Some 93 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit, 21 of whom are on ventilatory support and 55 on supplemental oxygen. According to the CS, 87 other patients are on supplemental oxygen with 81 of them in general wards and six in the High Dependency Unit.
