Kenya on Friday recorded 284 new cases of Covid-19, from 4,540 samples tested in the last 24 hours. All the 17 deaths are late reports from facility audits, between April and May. An additional 92 patients are separately on supplemental oxygen, 85 of them in general wards and seven in High Dependency unit. The new cases are distributed in the counties as follows; Siaya and Nairobi 66 cases each, Kisumu 30, Mombasa 21, Busia 13, Kericho and Nyeri recorded 8 cases each, Kiambu, Nakuru, Turkana and Uasin Gishu 7 recorded seven cases each. Garissa and Vihiga 6 cases each, Kisii 5, Murang’a 4, Kitui 3, Embu, Migori, Kakamega, Narok, Kirinyaga and Kwale 2 recorded two cases each.
