Seventeen suspected members of an outlawed gang group have been arrested in Mlolongo, Machakos County. Mbae said all those arrested were members of Gaza, an outlawed gang group. Mbae said the arrests were prompted by an aborted attempted plan by the group to breach the peace in Mlolongo town on Tuesday. “We preempted, but later in the night conducted a crackdown and arrested 17 youths suspected to be members of Gaza. “For the financiers and sympathizers of these outlawed gang groups, we are keenly monitoring them,” Mbae said.
