Police say a 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday. SURREY, B.C.—A 17-year-old female has been charged following a weekend stabbing in Surrey, B.C. An RCMP news release says the 17-year-old was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated assault. Police say investigators believe the altercation was isolated and targeted as the alleged victim and the suspect know one another. The identity of the accused person is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
