An eighteen years old senior secondary school student has been arrested by men of ogun state police command for attempting to kill her guardian, one Mrs Esther Bada by poisoning her food. This was disclosed in a press statement made available to Blueprint, Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi in Abeokuta. “On interrogation, the suspect initially denied and she was transferred to homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department. “On getting there, she made a confessional statement that she actually add rat poison substance to the victim’s food. The commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole has directed that the suspect be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
