Peel police say a 19-month-old boy is dead after being struck by the driver of a vehicle in Mississauga on Wednesday evening. A spokesperson for Peel police said that after the collision the male driver drove the boy and the child’s mother to hospital, where the child died from his injuries. The boy was struck near Confederation Parkway and Paisley Boulevard West at around 5:25 p.m. The driver remained on scene, police told the Star. On Tuesday, a 3-year-old boy died after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke.
