Two people were taken to hospital after a fire in a Richmond seniors' housing complex overnight. The fire broke out at around 1:30 a.m. PT Monday at Cedarwood Place, a seniors' rental housing facility on Granville Avenue near Minoru Boulevard. Chief Trevor Johnson. Chief Trevor Johnson said he had around 18 firefighters on scene at the fire. Johnson added that the woman and one other person were taken to hospital to be treated for minor smoke inhalation.
