2 police ‘pushers’ killed in drug bust

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan: Two police officers in active service and tagged as high-profile drug traders were killed in a shootout with their colleagues in a da-ring buy-bust on Monday night here. Ronald Oliver-Lee, provincial director, said Nicolas and Agbayani were listed in the Directorate for Intelligence in Camp Crame in Quezon City and the Regional Intelligence Division for their alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade and gun-for hire activities in Region 1. Lee added that both officers were identified by arrested pushers as their suppliers of shabu and marijuana in the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. Nicolas was also implicated in illegal drug trade operations in Metro Manila. They were also being investigated as protectors of gun-for-hire syndicates in Pangasinan, La Union and Ilocos Sur.
