The incident occurred in Howaikong union's Satgharia hilly area around 4am on Thursday. He said: “Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested Babul, an accused in a drug case, from Teknaf’s Hnila Bazar area around 3pm on Wednesday. “Later that day, based on his information, our team, along with the arrestee, conducted a raid in Howaikong hilly area to recover weapons and yaba pills." They were taken to Teknaf Upazila Health Complex in critical condition and later transferred to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared them dead.
