I can assure you that using Coca-Cola, Nike and Starbucks as the inspiration for your small business’ brand message will not help you win projects over your competitors as a solopreneur. For a brand message that's different & stands out, you MUST ask yourself different questions than the competition . Now is not the time to worry about offending or making your competitors look bad, in fact either of those would mean you have found a great brand message! The more uncomfortable or scared you are to use one of your truths as your brand message, the more effective it is likely to be!
