2018 was turbulent, 2019 is a year of victory for Benue people — OrtomGovernor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has congratulated the people of the state on the successful crossover to the year 2019. Governor Ortom in his New Year Message to the people of the state and Nigerians described the year 2018 as a turbulent year for people of the state but said that 2019 is a year of victory for the people of the state. He also implored them to sustain their support of his administration and security agencies in peacebuilding, to guarantee the safety of lives and property. The governor said 2019 is a decisive year for the country as Nigerians prepare to go to the polls to choose their leaders. “Governor Ortom wishes Benue people a prosperous New Year,” the statement said.
