On Oct. 7, the Cattle Baron’s Ball returned to the Roanoke Valley. The American Cancer Society hosts about 50 of the events nationwide, and here in the Roanoke Valley is no different. The event was founded more than 35 years ago in Texas and is now one of the American Cancer Society’s signature events.
