Chidiebube Okeoma, OwerriA pan-Igbo group, the Igbo National Council, has urged the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari(retd.) and other northern elders to caution the leader of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Yerima Shettima, over his comments on the 2023 presidency. The group said that video clips and press statements quoting Shettima as saying that 2023 was not the right time for the Igbo to produce Nigeria’s president were “dangerous” and threats to the nation’s progress. Godsent said, “President Muhammadu Buhari and the Arewa Consultative Forum should call Yerima Shettima to order before he throws Nigeria into a political crisis. “Yerima Shettima is the purported leader of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, who, some years ago, issued a quit order to Igbo people living in northern states of Nigeria.
