During interrogation, the suspect reportedly explained that he shared the videos in response to a trending activity on social media. Police said Hayford told investigators that the videos were posted as part of a TikTok challenge known as “Auntie Shakira”. The police also cautioned the public against sharing explicit or offensive materials on the internet, stressing that such conduct is against the laws of the country. The police will go all out to ensure that the Internet is safe for every Ghanaian,” the report added.
