Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo Nolasco, who hosted the lecture session for the Italian students, said the lecture is part of the Embassy’s participation in the series of activities under the Embassy Adoption Program of Global Action. The MUN is an educational simulation and/or academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. During the lecture, the Italian students were served with Filipino food like Pancit sotanghon and canton (sautéed rice and egg noodles), puto (steamed rice cakes), and cassava bibingka (cassava cake).
