Seventy-one 2nd set of students of the Bauchi State College of Nursing and Midwifery have graduated with a charge on them to be good ambassadors of the institution. While speaking at the joint graduation and matriculation ceremony of the students, Provost of the College, Hajiya Rakiya Saleh said that already, most of the graduating students have been indexed with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria thereby making them ready for engagement by prospective employers. On this occasion, fresh students are made to take oaths of allegiance to constituted authority and commit themselves to peaceful living as members of the College community. With this, every matriculated student is entitled to all rights and privileges recognised by the College.”The Provost recalled that Bauchi State College of Nursing and Midwifery was established by the state government via the State Assembly Law in January 2011, to offer courses of study in Nursing and Midwifery in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Regulation. The Bauchi State First Lady, Hajia Aisha Bala Mohammed while addressing the students, pledged to contribute towards reducing the menace of maternal and child mobility in the state through massive awareness.
