BANGALORE, India (AP) " Spinner Nathan Lyon put in the best ever performance by a visiting bowler to India as Australia gained early control of the second test on Saturday. Lyon ended the first day with 8-50 off 22.2 overs with Australia dismissing India for 189 despite Lokesh Rahul scoring his third test half-century. Australia, which won the first test by 333 runs, finished on 40-0 in 16 overs after India chose to bat. Lyon took the last five wickets " including Rahul for 90 " as India went from 174-5 to 189 all out in 71.2 overs. India also dropped Jayant Yadav for extra batsman Nair, who scored an unbeaten triple century in his previous test last December.
