Furthermore, a second consignment of 1.2 million Moderna doses are expected to arrive on Saturday, Foreign Minister Abdul Momen said on Friday. With that, the government would have 4.5 million vaccine doses at its disposal. The flight ferrying the Moderna vaccine doses from the US is expected to land around 11pm and the one from China is scheduled to land around 12am. Bangladesh has been facing a vaccine crisis ever since the Serum Institute of India went back on its deal to provide 30 million Oxford-AstraZeneca doses to Bangladesh.
